More Misery!
I went to check out a new vehicle in Marshfield today. (ok a used one)
I wanted to get SirCumference a newer vehicle than the 1993 Lumina APV that he is currently using with 184,000 miles on it and needs a little work.
So we go and check on the car, agree on a mutual price and then the lady says she won’t take a check! I guess I can understand her concerns with checks. Ok, I’ll just run to a bank. Two banks are already closed. The credit union won’t cash it unless we are members. I suppose the banks would have been the same. I go back to the lady and said, “I guess we won’t be purchasing the vehicle.” She asks when I am coming back and I say that I am not sure if I want to drive back another 70 minutes one way.
