So it looks like MOGA is no more…at least in its current state. Seeing an announcement yesterday on the MOGA facebook page and their website is now updated as well with the announcement. https://mogageo.com/
After 15 tremendous years of fellowship, friendship, and glorious gut-wrenching competitions, we are sad to announce that the former and remaining directors of MOGA have resigned. We wish Nebraska hosts the best of luck with 2018.
Thank you to each and every competitor and attendee over the years. It has been an amazing adventure and we hope to see you all out on the trails.

<em style=”box-sizing: inherit;”>– The MOGA Board of Directors
Reading through a couple of different facebook threads not sure as to why but it feels that current board almost doesn’t even want to transition a new board in 🙁
Be interesting to see if the planned hosts for 2018 in Nebraska will still hold the event and if others will find a way to step up and keep the event going in a new way.

11/08/2017 at 7:40 pm #2056698I have the event on my watchlist as of tonight. It’ll be interesting for sure to see what happens to it.
The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.
Where's George? Stimulating the economy one EMS'ed dollar at a time.

Please note: my comments are mine alone and may not necessarily reflect an official stance of the WGA Board of Directors.

With the MOGA board dissolving, MOGA itself may never happen again unless some other entity takes over. They have been scouting for locations, including Wisconsin, for 2019 since last December. There was talk about possibly bringing it here within the next couple of years but all conversations have been stalled due to the above announcement from MOGA.
Would be really cool to see a mega in addition to WBCB here in our great state.
