As you may remember we were recently contacted by the Racine Journal Times to tell them a little about geocaching. They were willing to go out on a hunt so a reporter and a cameraman followed The Cheeseheads and Us to ‘A River Runs Through It.’ We did this all Thursday night and the article appeared in the Sunday paper.
There are no pictures in the internet version of the article but the real thing has 4 great pictures of us doing what we all love!

Congrats to the The Cheeseheads…They finally found this cache…fourth times a charm…good thing too we had an audience this time, they would have been quite embarassed to have a NF with a reporter there.
Well done to both teams involved! The article presents an entirely different approach than those before. I like it!

Nice article. Glad to see the Cheeseheads find “A River Runs Through it”…the very first cache I ever found..as an ordinary hiker who ran into a geocacher (Spiderjugs) who let me tag along and see what this sport was all about. Also, I think it would be fun for the reporter to take on “Executive Order…Vote” sometime before election day.
The pictures need to be scanned and posted. Not so much so we have the complete story but as proof that the Cheeseheads have actually found ‘A River Runs Through It’. I think this is one of the signs of the apocalypse mentioned in the Bible.

It was fun. I plan on scanning in the pictures and posting them as soon as I can.
I guess the trick was having a five-year-old along to help…
