I found some caches at Governor Dodge last weekend as well as some new bites and a tick on me. EEEK! I can say it is now “Geo-SCRATCH” season! The buggers are out! Fortunately I found a lightweight bug suit at Gander Mountain that is really helpful. This suit consists of jacket, pants, and head net. Unfortuantely you may startle some people when you emerge from the woods as you look somewhat like a military sniper!
By the way that method of tying a thread around the tick and gently pulling worked great. Got the little pest, head and all!
