Congratulations to Mr. Greenthumb & Sunshine on achieving two milestones: They logged their 4,500th cache find, and, in doing so, they finally were able to travel to the Grand Canyon and see what all the fuss was about. Well, actually, it was at GC29H6Q Grand Canyon National Park, in southern Wisconsin!

We were fortunate to be travelling with them as they started off at “Hawaii,” and then afterward while still wearing their Hawaiian leis, they notched their big milestone, this one in the rain. In fact it rained the entire day as they found 14 more while visiting the national parks series along the Glacial-Drumlin trail. Naturally they had on waterproof gear so the weather was no problem. The attached picture of them at the Grand Canyon may or may not be an accurate depiction of the cache. As you can see, there just happens to be a “silo” along the edge of the canyon. 😉 It somehow seems fitting.

You never changed your clothes from Hawaii to the Grand Canyon??? 😯 😉

Congrats on the 4500 finds, Bill and Vicki!

Super milestone and photos too! Once again I have missed the opportunity to see another national wonder in my home state. I am glad to see you are taking full advantage of the scenery and synchronizing milestones…that is no easy task! 😆

Congrats on your trip to 4500. With all the parks you visited, there are still plenty more. A few would be Arches and Mount Rushmore. Nice areas but sorry no silos that I know of.

Well, I think maybe a sombrero would have been more appropriate than the leis! But congrat’s on the milestone!

Your log didn’t say…. did you get to ride donkeys to the bottom of the canyon??? Congrats!

Congrats on the milestone, but…raingear in the desert 😯 Now that’s just sick and wrong 🙄
