Would any of you WGA members be interested in joining a fantasy baseball league?? I have never done it before, so I would be new to it as well. Let me know, I would gladly set up the league and set everything up.

Let me know, I think it could be fun, and I will give out geocaching related prizes to the top 5 finishers!!

Let me know, if I get some interest, I will set up the league after that we can decide on how we want to draft and things like that.

Depending on popularity we could even set up an event-cache and even make it a live draft! We could pick a central location and have some fun with it. Not a for sure, but an idea.

I will be setting up the league through mlb.com

    count me in.

I’m an expert at Fantasy Football; never played fantasy baseball, always wanted to. I don’t know how much of my fantasy expertise will carry over between sports, but it should be fun.

If an offline draft cannot be arranged, PLEASE at least make it so there is a live online draft.

I was just looking at setting up the league, and the only offline options are where the computer drafts for you…not very cool if you ask me, whats the point?? I am in the process of setting it up now, it will be on online live draft, I will post dates and times when I get it all figured out.
    Should be allot of fun!!!

Look into setting it up on ESPN.com.
Thats where I play most of my fantasy football.
I manage an advanced league there and participate in a few others.

What I like about ESPN is their intuitive system, and very flexible options when it comes to drafting and specific rules.

I also like the fantasy analysts on the ESPN staff.

Sorry man…I just set it up on MLB and I think it is going to work out pretty well, the rules are pretty easy, and I think the draft should go well.

I have it set up for the max of 12 teams, so join it now, or you might not get a spot.

If you are interested in playing just send me an e-mail with the account you want to use, and I will e-mail you an invite to the league with all of the details you will need to get in and set up your account.

I have the draft set for March 20th…the time right now is for 6 p.m. but we can change any of that if it does not work out for everybody.

Thanks…..e-mail is muddybottoms [at] live [dot] com

Sorry for the confusion, but I have changed the draft date to April 3rd. I did this so you can have more time to research your players if you wish, and to allow more time for people to sign up and what not.

I type this as I am watching a classic Brewer game from 05 on FSN…I love baseball season, can’t wait for April and the opener!!

Lucky! When the All-Star game was in town, we were drawn in the lottery for one of the four pack of tickets. It was a once in a lifetime experience for me. I almost caught a ball in the home run contest. You could see me on TV leaping and being an inch or two short.
