I think we both know the outcome of the championship would have been much different had I realized it was 2 weeks long instead of the customary 1 week. The second Monday was an eye opener and caught us both off guard. I would never have let go of my pitching had I known that. Chalk it up to another lesson learned.

Fantasy Baseball has the same problem as Fantasy Football in that the fantasy playoffs are held during a period when teams do weird stuff to their lineups. Baseball lines up their pitching for the playoffs and rests both pitchers and hitters. Football rests guys when they’ve clinched or have home field advantage. A good Fantasy team can look like junk come the fantasy playoffs. Mouthman can manage all he wants, but a lot of it comes down to luck. I try to position my team so I have the best chance at the most luck. ๐Ÿ˜€

I made moves but not alot of them. I tried to make sure that the players I had played well over the long run, the tough part of FF.
I also thought I had third wrapped up at the end of week one. I was ahead 9-0 on Sunday and was shocked when it continued on Monday. I just barely held on by one for third after that second week.

LOL! Ya I hear ya! I too did not realize that it was 2 weeks long either. I think what helped me with my come back was that I had one extra move to make at the end. I would not have dropped a couple of my pitchers that I did that 1st week of the playoffs. That last pickup gave me a win plus K’s and a better whip. It was a very fun season. I had no clue as to what I was doing when I started and I’m still not sure if I do at the end. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜† .

I would join again but I had apsolutly no clue on what i was doing or who the good players were. LOL I tried to study and find them but just couldn’t find the time to sit and look up every player and research them. It was fun though I might do it again if I had a bird on the shoulder to guide me through it a little. It was nothing like the fantasy football that I could do a little better still got beat but i had fun.
