I’m going to be hosting a CITO event coming up in mid May and I was wondering if there is anyone out there that might want to volunteer they’re time to paint a mural. I’m just tossing this out there as a feeler right now as I’m having a difficult time trying to get permission from the rail road to cover up the graffiti.
The mural would be painted on a support wall for a train bridge. This mural would need to be nature based as it’s in the middle of a forest preserve.
If you’re interested, or know of someone that would be, please post here or PM me.
THANKS!
I’d suggest you just paint it camo green. All art (well, all good art) expresses some point of view, and I’m guessing that no railroad wants to be involved in anything like that, no matter what the agenda is.
Besides you can just get a bunch of knuckleheads like us to paint over the graffiti. No artistic talent needed.
Yeah, if it’s camoed, the graffiti artists might not be able to find it again. 😆
