So let’s say someone wants to put out a cache or something with a theme for a certain type of music. Let’s say this someone thinks it would be a hoot if, when the ammo can is opened, a snippet of the certain type of music plays.
Could this be done? If so, how? Without spending a fortune, that is?
glue one of those recordable christmas cards to the hinge, that way when opened whatever you recorded will play
not sure if it would work in the winter
I was wondering about that kind of thing. Hmmm. What someone has in mind would not be likely to be hunted in the winter, anyway. Just sayin.
When the grandkids were younger – they had some toys that made noise when they were moved even a little. I remember a truck and it would go off even in the car ride from their house to ours…
You may want to pm Seldom/Seen. He tried that with an ammo box but the batteries would die in the cold weather. He may have some good insight!

Why don’t you do a night cache with a bedtime story in that would put cachers to sleep in the woods.
.
its been done in madison.
It was a birthday cache for marble guy and when you opened it,it played happy birthday.
Clayton, Was it done the way others have suggested, with one of those recordable cards? If you have insight, pm me with the details. We had this inspirational flash and want to act on it soon!

It used to anyway, that is until the battery pooped out after a winter.
