…is getting traded in. My 12yr old red Geo Prizm is getting old and small. So in a couple days I’ll be dropping her off and picking up my new gray Saturn Vue.
Had to dig out all the maps, pens and pencils, and had to peel the oval “GEO” sticker off to get it ready for trade in. Next will be the State Park sticker. (Do I just take the remnants in to get a replacement?)
But I’m very excited to have a new, reliable vehicle.

Congrats on getting a new cachemobile Mama! It’s always fun to have a new form of transportation! As for the parking sticker…I think you just have to tell them that you already purchased one and they’ll give the replacement, but taking the shreds of the old one can’t hurt. Good luck with that!

well, officially, you are suppose to take the remnants of the sticker in, and they will give you a replacement. i understand there have been some lucy people that have caught a park ranger at the right time, and have received a replacement by merely saying they traded their car in.
i asked a park ranger, however, and was told that we needed to bring in the other sticker.
and, congrats on the new vehicle!

Was this question asked when you took your new cache mobile into a park Dawn?
no. it was asked after we got the new van, but took the jeep caching the next day cuz we (cough)geo(cough) didn’t want to get the new van dirty.
so, we were legal.
