I posted a very long message, including pictures, regarding my mom … I has been missing for the past 9 hours.
I have now erased that message … as the Ozaukee Sheriff just found her trapped in her car off the road.
I’m just placing this message, in case someone saw the message asking to keep your eyes open. I only placed it 10 mintues ago … so good work!
Glad all was found and well. Keep us informed.

We both have moms of the same age. We can only imagine your distress and we are both glad she has been found and that, hopefully, all is well.

Thanks!
Just touching bases quickly, will be “occupied” for a while.
She was pinned in the car the whole time, upside down and wet … she was in a shallow creek, down a 20 to 30 foot ravine in a wooded area off the side of a road. She’s 80.
They live in the town of Cedarburg and she was on her way to sell her flowers at a farmers market in West Bend. When she didn’t show up at 6am, others got worried. The sherrifs of Ozaukee and Washington County searched the whole 25 minute route all morning long, the Ozaukee deputy found her around 1pm.
She leaves the back of the truck open over night, when she has the load of flowers ready for the next morning (to keep them cool) … a stray cat had spent the night in the truck, she didn’t know it … the cat freaked when she was about a mile from her house, tried to jump out her driver’s side window, which was not open, and then jumped on her face and started scratching … then she swerved off the road.
Our prayers were heard all morning long … as she is very bruised up, but otherwise ok. But will be extermely sort for some time (unfortunately she was very arthritic to start with). Mainly concerned about my dad who is in his mid-80s and my mom helped him out a lot. Please have them in your prayers … her name is Laura, my dad is Andy.
