Natloh2 Reaches 72!!!!!! (Counties)

I had the good fortune of meeting natloh finally this weekend, only to learn that he logged a cache that very day in the final of Wisconsin’s 72 counties on January 14th.

Natloh is the first, I believe, to accomplish this amazing feat. Some counties are easier than others, but to find one in each of the 72 counties is just too cool.

Congratulations Natloh!!! I hope to join the 72 club sometime prior to June 1, 2006 so be sure to put out a 72 county bonus cache by then.

You will have to blame Lil Otter for all the her waterfall series caches through out the north woods for a lot of my finds in different counties. Plus I would not have checked my county count but for a comment by Trudy and the Beast on how many counties they had found, which got me thinking (and that’s a lot of work, thinking that is) after deciphering all the numbers I had six or seven counties to go. This last Saturday I found a cache in each of the last three counties, Barron, Polk and Burnett. Six smiley faces in six hundred miles, makes a long day.

Well, I think the best part of Natloh’s trip this weekend was that he made a point of cutting short his geocaching (after the counties were added, of course) to join us for an event in Chippewa Falls. It was great to have two geocachers from the southern areas at our Western Wisconsin Lunch Bunch. Thanks for coming, Alan, and congrats on the milestone!
