So I’m coordinating a massive effort for a series in the Eau Claire area.  I’m hoping that the 100+ caches will come out in the next couple of weeks.  So inside some of these caches will be clues for a final cache.  What should I rate the D/T on this final?  You don’t necessarily need to find all 100 to get it, you could get lucky.  But you will have to drive a fair amount of miles to finish off the series.  I’d like to rate it higher because  of this, but unsure what I should do.  Thoughts?

Is it similar to other series where you have to do this for a final?  If you find such a series, I would rate the D/T as something similar.

Kook at Labzones smiley series. 100 caches with numbers in some only. He did put each # out there twice which is a good idea. The final is a well hidden ammo can not too far from the road. Are you trying to get me to come to Eau Claire?

Well, that won’t quite work out with what I have planned, but ….

And yes, yes I am.  🙂

For the difficulty I would add one star to the rating you would give the final if it was a traditional. The terrain would just be the terrain of the final. I have done several mystery series using this criteria.

Well, maybe an additional spot for terrain because they are having to do a fair amount of driving to complete the series.  Would that matter?

If the 100 are park and grabs I would give them a 1.5/1.5 and rate the final like I said.

Bill, do you really think I’d be responsible for organizing a series of 100 PnG’s?  😉  Psh!
