It has come to my attention, and I can confirm the story as I have personal knowledge of the events. But today (August 23) at 9:15 pm two local cachers made find 1000 together.
The teams meet at 2ish this afternoon and after doing many caches in West Bend they thought a little 12 step cache would be no problem, seven hours later they finished the Geocachers Annoymous series. Both teams making to 1000 before their first year of caching.
SO CONGRATS TO DR. DOLITTLE (I wont mention the other team but like I said I have personal knowledge)
Congrat to Dr. Doolittle on reaching 1K….Hope to meet ya down the trail.

Congrats to Dean and Roxie, as well as Dr. Doolittle! You guys rock and, I might add, put out some awesome caches. Keep on cachin’!
Yes, Congratulations Wywrdsn and Dr. Doolittle on completing this journey. I did *see* the fireworks at 9:15, or was that the flashlight battery dying??
On to 1500 for the both of you.
Wow! Congrats, guys!
Congratulations on the milestone!
Congrats on reaching your goal! So who signed the log book first for the 1000th find (not that it matters)? 😉
Yeah Dean and Roxy, you did it! And congrats to Dr. Doolittle, too.
We all better watch your dust! We took almost a year to get to 100, LOL.
I’d also like to recognize the accomplishments of my friend, Phynd from New Richmond for making the 1000 milestone during the weekend of the West Bend event. On Sunday Phynd recorded #1000 at an Earthcach in Fondy with Zuma and me. Way to go Geneo! I told ya we would see that record go down in flames before the weekend was over. LOL, Da Bloodhound 😆 😀 😆
Congratulations to all of you. It’s a great feeling!
Congrats to Dean and Roxy and of course to Ron. I was in W.B. myself that day. Too bad we didn’t run into each other.
Congrats to you all!!!
Way to Go!!!
