New Caches in Richland Center Area

[GR8 EYES]

As you may have noticed… Richland Center has a Discover Richland Geocaching Event scheduled for Saturday, April 25 (10-12:30 am). This is a service learning project being completed by communication students at the UW Richland campus. Problem is they didn’t know that they had to list the event on geocaching.com atleast two weeks ahead. When I finally got involved and volunteered to help (no student nor the instructor had ever geocached) it was too late. 😯

I have spent the past two days hiding caches in the area. 21 in and around Richland Center and another 15+ nearby. 8) I will ask to have them published on Friday to hopefully entice you fellow cachers into supporting this effort and then enjoy finding the caches I have placed (since there were only two in the area up til now).

Glad to hear there will be more caches in the Richland Center area – it’s a common half-way meeting point for me and a family member. I’ll try to get out there on the 25th. Thanks for letting us know about it.

Just finished writing up the cache pages. 😕 45 total. 🙄 I hope all are approved and published. It was alot of fun doing the hides. I hope they are enjoyed by many cachers. 😀
