Hello everyone, my first three caches were setup and published yesterday. These caches are located about 10 miles north-east of Antigo on County Highway A.
Rapids on the Wolf – http://coord.info/GC2ZGYN
Peters Marsh Wildlife Area – http://coord.info/GC2ZH01
Shaddock Springs – http://coord.info/GC2ZH20
Peters Marsh Wildlife Area is about a half mile hike into the cache and I plan on setting up another one across the marsh from this one in the fall when the ticks are not so bad, that one would be about a mile hike in to the cache.
Shaddock Springs and Rapids on the Wolf are park and grab micros so BYOP.
Happy caching!
I just looked at your caches pages, and they look great! Very informative, and they make me want to go look for those hides the next time we’re in that area. Of course, if those ticks are too nasty, and your hides too evil, well… then I might have to change my mind! 😉
Now look for the fun of receiving notices that someone has found your caches. That’s always the best part for us.
Yeah I am anxiously awaiting those emails 🙂
Hopefully everyone has a good experience with them, and if these three work out well I will be setting up more in the fall.
If no one finds dem today, I may have to go on a geo-run to find these 3 new ones you just had published!
It is to bad my daughter is taking the bus to girl scout camp this year or we would be up there in a week to grab your caches. She goes to Camp Blackhawk by green lake. Oh well Good luck with your caches.
Well after 24 hours all three caches have had their FTFs logged. People were right – it was a real treat reading the log entries and knowing that the person who found them enjoyed their hunt.
I’ve already scouted a few more spots for new geocaches that I might go and setup this weekend. I can tell this is going to be a long term addiction. Hiding them is certainly a lot of fun.
😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
Congrats!
