Mine and Ecorangers only “DNF”. I give up, where was it?? 10 eyes spent at aleast an hour on this one with no results. I could not fathom placing the thing up the cliff, but several of us spent some time up there too.
If this cache is going to become a permenent cache, a direct e-mail reply would do since I don’t ever see myself going back any time soon.
Thanks!
Messa & I were part of that search party. I can say no stone was left unturned, no tree not searched, the caves were checked .. any clues to what was missed. Did we over think this one?
WizOuts Cave? Hmmmm where could it be?
I will tell you this much. When we searched for the location to put it in, a bat flew out of the …… well I think you can figure out where bats like to stay.
I understand that our coords might be closer to the trail then the actual cache is located, I will correct those when I add a log to make this a permanent cache. But still……. Its all in the name.
Bob of Ca$hing Out was lobbying for a different (harder) location for this one but it will have a high terrain rating when we list it.
It does seem a number of people at the event found it. I asked my wife if she wanted to go have a look and she indicated it would be a much colder day somewhere when she looked for this one.
It sounds like Professor and Duelist from the Ecorangers were in the right place during the search .. just which one is the question.
I was afraid of that. If it had rained out, that unrated cache would have been bad news. Thanks for the update! and thanks again for helping organize the event!
