we need to have a new icon for the wga campout & picnic temp caches that way the picnic is loged as one and then the temp caches under another

I think I understand what you are suggesting.

It would be great if geocaching.com had seperate log types for events and temporary caches hidden at events.

Unfortunately, all you/we can do is suggest such a thing to the staff at geocaching.com and wish that they would implement our idea.
