I’m somewhat expecting a Journal Entry 3 today for Adventure 3. Over the past hour the other two adventures have been updated with more clues.

The bright totem really has me stumped other than the light from the city The only other thing I can think of is a lighthouse, but I don’t know of any around that area of the state. Or bodies of water big enough to warrant one…

I think I have the an idea where it could be around, I am calling a friend who lives out there before I take the long drive. The other two adventures started one day ahead of us. I am guessing Uncle Fun is already searching the area for the FTF.

So, anyone else getting annoyed by out of state people posting ‘ideas’ that probably don’t have anything to do w/ the correct area?

Last year this lady who was out of state gave coord that put us 100 feet from the cache. I called my son back, when he was less then 20 feet from it.
How is everyone search for this going? I made REI and was at Dennys today. I think I have an idea on a couple of spots that I am researching. We will see.
Remember that the out of staters are playing through us. 😛

Yeah. We’ve got a couple ideas and have had a few people out scouting the areas. The recent post about it being “Go! Go! Go! veterans park Milwaukee” bugged me because everything is pointing -not- in that area, and that’s pretty darn close to where the cache was last year

Can’t wait for another ‘real’ clue Todays didn’t seem to help much. Sounded like the Denny’s coords was more to get WI Geocachers together and to discuss ideas. Then this “wrench” from Paul A: ” However, the coordinates may have some significance in resolving the location of the lost treasure.” really got me wondering.. hehe

I am glad someone said it…I was thinking the same thing. They may be helpful at times, but to say that’s where it is, go get it, with no knowledge of the area seams a bit too far out for me. Biggest challenge to me right now is not being able to just drive out there and look around. Maybe this weekend. Find it or not, I am having a good time reading the clues and searching the web for info and maps.

Just remember to thank the out of state folks when they provide you with the final bit of information that enables you to be a winner in this contest. Without the out of state folks I would never have been first finder last year for the Milwaukee cache.

Hrm. Wish those coords would be released. I was hoping the time in Adventure 2 would be the time they all were released but I guess not. I think we found the totem that others have been visiting but nothing else yet…

This is making for a long day. I hope the coords come out today

Welp, on the bright side with this ‘spare’ time I’ve been able to fix the IR issue w/ my cell phone and now have GPRS capabilities again w/ the laptop

Kind of curious how many others are out at different ‘posts’ waiting for -the- call

The plan is set for tomorrow, we are waiting in downtown Milwaukee by the old tower. Just like the terraformist believes it is. You know there is a line that runs from Lapham to Milwaukee tower. LOL
Good luck to all of you and see you at the cache.
