    Hello,

I have been Geocaching since 2015, but just joined the WGA a couple days ago after the West Bend Cache Bash. (I got my 400th find in Regner Park this past weekend).

I live in West Central Wisconsin and don’t see too much about the WGA (more about the MnGA) since I am on the border of WI.Ā  I hope to do my best in promoting the WGA more in this area.

Welcome Amie! Glad to have you here. Feel free to ask us any questions. Congrats on find 400!

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Welcome, Amie. My daughter and her family live in Hammond so I do a certain amount of caching around the Hudson/River Falls area…love Spike 007 caches…and my son-in-law teaches right across the river from you in Hastings.

          Welcome Amie!

I’m also a member of the 2015 class of new geocachers! We’re still relative newbies compared to most, I think!

I have a cousin in Prescott! At least, I think she’s still in Prescott.

And, CONGRATS on 400! I just got 400 last October, and am almost to 1000. I think meeting members of the WGA and other cachers since the start of the year has motivated me to get out there more. Of course, living in SE WI, where it’s hard to find a good spot to hide a cache with all the ones out there, helps too!

          Happy caching! Cami, aka Bennycams

Nice!Ā  Perhaps we will meet sometime at an Event or on the Trails.

I really like Spike007 caches too!

Thanks!Ā  Since going to the West Bend Cache Bash, I have been more motivated to do more Geocaching.Ā  I’ve even placed 3 caches this week and am planning 2 Events.Ā  One is already published ( a CITO ) and the other will be a GIFF.

          Hello Amie:

I also am a new member in West Central, but have very few caches, as I “specialize” in earthcaching.Ā  I am also relatively new to Wisconsin (having only been here for a year.Ā  I also have notice that there seem to be few events in this area, although a fair amount of participation.Ā  I hope to meet you and others. . .

Welcome all! If you are interested in earthcaches, I urge you to come to the WGA Fall Picnic. We will have info about earthcaches and hopefully a presentation from the IAT about the cold caches.
