Why does Wisconsin always have to be about cheese and cows?
Well, besides adding the Packers, what else is there?

The designs just reinforce the value of the whole souvenier program.
Well, think back on some of the souvenirs you may have picked up on a vacation trip. Weren’t a lot of them just tchotchkes as far as class and value went? But they did remind you of a place you had been. I kind of like seeing the souvenir states come up, and I’m thinking we still have six more to make their appearances.
01/08/2011 at 1:36 pm #1941574I had to look up tchotchkes. Turns out it’s not like a fenderberg at all.

Saturday morning and I learned something. I had to look up both of these.

Although where I grew up, instead of hitting fenderburgs, we went chunk kicking. Regional dialect thing, I’m sure!
Speaking of tchotchkes, I’m really hopeful that our very nice reviewer will approve our newest cache, which will allow all who seek it to pick up all the fun tchotchkes they can! Way more fun than these highly valuable souvenirs.
And another btw….the folks in Minnesota are trying to develop a revised blurb, because they aren’t real happy with the emphasis on malls. Southdale? Pfft! The only time I went there, they lost Trekkin’s wedding band and he had to get married with a cigar band. True story.

He told me he pawned it.
01/08/2011 at 6:05 pm #1941578Well, he bought it back, then. It wasn’t funny at the time, but when the mall called me about a week after the wedding and told me they found it, get this, swept up in a dirt pile….well, you just can’t help but laugh at that!
He won’t pawn something with that much history behind it. Well, maybe not. 🙄
