Our team has kind of turned all caches into night caches, but I am sure there are some that were actually set up to work that way. I am looking for suggestions on night caches set up in our general area. As we have already gone from Illinois to Port Washington, I am sure if it is reasonable distance we would give it a shot. HELP, any suggestions welcome.

Remember “Impulse Cachers” are a just like everyone else, just quicker….

There are a couple of Glow in the Dark multicaches in Minooka Park, in Waukesha County..those are the closest ones to Racine that I’m aware of, although I think Cacheopia, out near South Kettle Morraine is meant to be a night cache as well.

The only other night cache that I know of is GC27E3 “I Believe”

I’ve done the cachopiea cache and while it is said to a great area at night, It is not designed to be a night cache like the “AWESOME!!!!!!!” Glow-in-the-dark Caches. Those caches must be done at night in order to complete them. My kids loved them so much we have done them more than once.

If you want to do the “Glow” caches, drop me an E-mail through the geocaching.com site using my My Profile.

I live nearby and have been meaning to check on those caches soon anyway.

The GC27E3 “I Believe” night cache that was mentioned is an excellent multi-cache. However, read the list first as there is some “foggyness” as to if it’s ok to be there at night. Also be aware that the final coordinates are off … read the more recent log entries (including mine) to set things straight.

The I Believe cache .. the park hours were posted at the entrance. I can see how finding the first waypoint the darkness would be a help but the final, now that would be a challenge!
