I was just browsing my history on http://www.geocaching.com when I noticed that a cache that we found this summer “Oakdale Mini Park” (GC162BV) has been stolen!! I’m sure that there are many of you out there who have encountered this cache, due to it’s close proximity to the Interstate, and the unique feature that is located near the hide. I would regularly browse the log for this cache and was surprised by how popular it was, especially during the summer travel season. Hopefully the cache owner will re-create it, because it’s one that Crockett’s Caching Crew is very fond of…you see, it was our very first “family” find.
Anyway, just wanted to express my sorrow and displeasure over the (hoepfully temporary) loss of such a great hide…
