Just a heads up that the nomination phase of the 2007 Board of Directors election is coming to a close. So if you have someone in mind that you’d like to nominate, please do so ASAP. Technically, you have until Sunday, Jan. 28th… but practically, since I have to contact the nominee by email and get a response back, and then a second nomination must be made by someone else, you should really try to make your nominations by Friday the 26th to ensure your nominee has a chance to get on the ballot.
From the “it’s not about the numbers” department: So far, 77 nominations have been made by over 30 of our members, which is almost double the number of nominations made last year.
Also, if any current candidates would like me to add a link on the ballot to a personal website or webpage, they need to get this information to me by this weekend. If I don’t hear from a candidate, I will assume that they want to link to their topic in the Candidates’ Corner forum. (And there are still a couple candidates who haven’t posted a topic about themselves yet :roll:… this also needs to be done by the 28th.)
