I was recently in North Carolina doing some caching. I found a good spot on the caching along a route feature. It was Colonel Francis Be atty Park, http://www.charmeck.org/NR/rdonlyres/esqtgcqenyijnpqhn3tcv6qaswipfuq4k2tsg3qimxutr2jny22gkg6sgrf5isghckubcp6xk76mublvmxfpqjnyo3e/colonelbeatty.pdf that had 9 caches in it. So I decided to look into it. There is a series in it starting with Colonel’s Barracks GCW62Q. This is a 5 cache series with the cords to the next on in each cache in the series. Along with it is 4 other caches in the park. All caches are of the regular size. I spent 2.5 hours walking around looking for them and saw pretty much every inch of the park. Made three trips around the lake to get them all.(except for the one that was missing) It looks like a great park for the locals to have an event in. Lots of great hiding places for the caches. To make a long story short if you are ever on the south end of Charlotte look up the above cache and do a search of the surrounding caches and search these out.
If I can figure out how to post some pictures I will put a few of the park on this thread.
