Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Riverwalk GC1G1VD is one of our favorite hides and unfortunately doesn’t get visited enough. If anyone wants a truly moving experience in a scenic setting please try this cache. Here is what the experience was like for Northern Lightz.

#400 Had done this walk before, just got confused due to construction! Came back for final. Both of us decided to wait for 9-11 and to make this cache a milestone for us. We highly enjoyed this cache, great walk and beautiful scenery. Decided to park by the final memorial ‘The War on Terrorism’ The flag was at half staff for 9-11. We stopped and talked about where we were on that day, and took extra time to remember the people from that horrific day. Thank you to all veterans who risked their lives for us to keep our way of life. It takes special men and women to join the military, and every single one deserves credit for their sacrifices. As we write this log on 9-11 in the background a tribute to 9-11 is playing on the t.v. Again thank you to the men and women on that day, police and firemen who were true heroes of that day. And to the people over sees right now continuing to fight. Also a special thank you to your son. Everyone has been affected in some way to at least one war memorialized on this walk, either friends or family. Thank you for setting up this cache it will make many slow down walk and talk on this walkway about many different things. This has become one of our favorite caches and we will recommend it to anyone. TFTC
