At the recent event (Chow, Chat and Cache) in Duluth we talked about naming our area group and have more frequent get-togethers. Please post your ideas here…

P.S. Thanks for making the event a HUGE success. It was a ton of fun going out caching together afterward. Hope to see you all again real soon!!

Fun idea! How about “Superior Cachers”?

Not from up there, but that is the same name that came to mind when seeing the title of this thread. Don’t know if it is still discussed, but there used to be a ‘movement’ to create a 51st state, “The Great State of Superior”, that comprised the UP, Northern WI, and NE MN.

(Not to be confused with the secessionists from the “Sovereign State of Winneconne.” ๐Ÿ™‚ )

And don’t forget about UNGA…….see Professor Cheeze about that.

Or 3G / GGG => Gitche Gumee Geocachers

Trekkin’ used to have a shirt from the movement. Maybe Mr. TE had one, too. It may not be designated by political boundaries, but anyone who spends time up there knows…it’s a whole different state!

Thanks for the input. I just wanted to put together some kind of a fun logo for event prizes and the like, just for fun. Nothing serious cause I’m not a serious person. ๐Ÿ™‚ Any input on a logo? Maybe something kind of crazy like those of us who go out in below zero weather to get bragging rights on a FTF.
