How many caches can be loaded to my Nuvi’s internal memory. NOT as POI’s.

This is one of those “no answer” questions. The higher end Nuvis will allow you to load .gpx files and then search for the contents using “Where To? Geocaches” The limit is the limit of your units memory. My understanding is that you can only have one active GPX, but I could be wrong about that.

Which Nuvi’s do this? I have a 500 and love it, but my sister is looking for a new one. Now I set her up with the GSAK macro. I would think that loading a GPX file would be better. Am I wrong?
    Thanks

Personally I like using the advanced Nuvi macro and loading them as POI’s. You get the paperless info and proximity alerts this way. Loading just the GPX file to my Nuvi is not very useful (IMHO). They loaded it that way at the cache ba$h last year and I didn’t like it because there’s no cache info that way. Results may vary by model I suppose. (I have the 255w)
