does any one know if there is any caches in the Ohare airport some thing easy to do while on a lay over for our trip east
thanks02/22/2005 at 8:46 pm #1740362There is a cache called ORD Layover GC5165 that is do-able. There are several within 5 miles of the airport…..don’t know if it is available for you to leave and cache. Have a nice flight. lucy
02/22/2005 at 8:48 pm #1740363I popped in the coordinates of the airport (N41 58.731 W87 54.184), and I find these caches within 5 miles of the joint. I don’t think geocaches are really popular when hidden on airport property. But the first one is about 0.2 miles away, the rest are over 2 miles.

02/28/2005 at 3:24 am #1740367Don’t forget that it takes almost an hour to walk from one end of O’Hare to the other. I found that out the hard way when I had to spend the night there after missing a connector flight.
