I forgot about this list until today and decided to take a look. Job well done, TBC.

I was near Oconto County’s oldest cache a couple weeks ago. But didn’t know that at the time. Now I do.

I’ll be sure to check that out. Same for Brown County when I do another Green Bay run later this month when I get around to getting a nuvi.

Just updated the bookmark due to a cache getting archived.

I was looking for that, too. Thought I had it with the WGA Geoart but it wasn’t so.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

TBC compiled this list some time ago but Chippewa is archived.

The one for La Crosse was also recently archived.  I’ll do some searching and see if I can figure out which one it is now.

Hurray for GSAK!  Looks like it might be GC9594.  Helps that we used to be sorta compulsive about getting everything in our radius.  Not anymore, but that era of our caching career covered the old stuff!

I am looking for the oldest active cache for the following counties: Chippewa, La Crosse and Washburn. Can someone either let me know what they are or show me how to figure it out. TIA

Think this is correct, but not 100% certain; does match up with T&B’s response for Lacrosse Co. above.

It looks like the oldest cache in Brown County has been archived recently.  With a little bit of searching, it looks like GCC139 is now the oldest.

The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.
