Congratulations to OldyWeds who logged #200 at “Fox Proposal Point” (GCR06T) this afternoon. This is definately a great hike to a great location. In an ironic moment I was working on the next “White River Marsh” series cache and they busted me in action. It was great to meet them for the first time and also see 1/2 the MuddyBottoms team with them. Very nice to be able to put another couple of faces to the names I see and it’s also fun to chat about caching adventures (like getting a wet foot).
I followed them to their journey today. I had found the cache before under a different username. I told them it was their baby, and I offered no help. They did great and made it look easy. As stated we ran into Ed right afterward and had a little chat. My parents never look at these forums, but I will be sure to convey any congrats to them.
Fox Proposal Point is a great trek and will continue to be one that is remembered fondly for many that have searched it out.
