I just finished watching Outdoor Wisconsin and heard Dan Small say that on next week’s show they’re going geocaching. Maybe I missed discussion of this, but does anyone here know where they went or who went with them?

Is this a re-run of the show that ran late last year?

Where and when is it? I’d like to set my DVR as well.

I want to say it’s airing on the 1st but I don’t have anything infront of me to back that up. I’ll check out our todo list when I get home tonight and post the date/time.

I thought it was ok. Anybody know the cacher with the hostess? My only gripe is why the hell did they cache in a cemetary.. Thats not the kind of publicity we needed…….

    #1875097

Finding the bubble gum in the cache was a treat too. 🙄 🙄

    #1875098

Yeah he should have mentioned that Food items were prohibited

I took issue with some of it as well, specially billed as a geocaching etiquette show.

    [soapbox]

Candy and Gum in cache – he should’ve grabbed it and immediately made mention of the gc.com rules regarding edible items. 4 of the last 6 caches I’ve done had dog biscuits or gum in them, and these were out in forest area’s.

Cemetery – was it me or did they walk right over the graves and then 15 seconds later say “We are on public lands so we should respect the area”.

    [/soapbox]

On the upside it did show a little bit of how to do get started, and talked about making it a family adventure.
