Pros: We found this unit very useful when paperless caching. The wi-fi is handy but the Palm browswer will never be mistaken for a iPhone so dont’ get too excited. Has a 1.2 megapixel camera. I wouldn’t use it for family photos but it’s great for caching when you need to have a camera along.
Why selling? The Garmin Oregon has made this unit obsolete for us.
Condition: Obviously used. STYLUS IS MISSING. (We just used a closed pen, works fine.) Includes carrying case and charger. Expected cosmetic wear and tear. Unit appears to have been blue at one time but the blue covering has worn off and it is now completely silver. The screen has a screen protector plastic on. The screen protector has light markings on it that does not affect operation. We have never taken the protector off while using it.
Cons/known faults: Unit will occasionally lock up in photo mode, requiring a hard reset in the field. (push the little button in the back, not a big deal). The touch screen will occasionally get out of synch requiring you to resynch it. Not a big deal but a little annoying. If you let the battery run empty (off charger for a while) it will lose the Cachemate program and you will have to reinstall it.
Terms of sale: As is, but guaranteed not to be DOA.
