My name is Matthew White, and I am the Children’s and Youth Services Librarian at the Park Falls Public Library. This summer we are offering the Summer Reading Program at our library to teens ages 13-18. The Teen Summer Reading theme for this year is You Are Here, and one of the suggested program ideas is to have a geocaching day. As a novice geocacher myself, I am very interested in doing something with geocaching for teens at my library this summer. Would you be able to put me in contact with volunteers who could do a geocaching program in my area? Funds are limited in light of other programs, so it would probably be most convenient for me if the volunteers lived in the area to avoid mileage costs – but we can certainly discuss things if you have an idea or suggestion. I look forward to working with you to put together this program.
