Perplexed by puzzle caches???? Numbed by manipulation numbers?? Saddened by Soduko?? Down right avoiding these types of caches?? Well….a fellow cacher made a suggestion and now I’d like to move on it.
Coming soon…the Perplexed by Puzzle Caches? Meet & Greet. I want to have it in Manitowoc and am looking at a place that has wi-fi available(slim pickins here). We can meet, greet and work on puzzle caches or for those of you who have solved them, help those who have not figured them out yet.
Puzzle Caches MOST interested in are those of Green Bay, Appleton and Milwaukee areas, anything inbetween, for that matter, ANY puzzle caches are welcome.
Whether you have solved some already, partial solved, barely solved or avoiding them all together, we want YOU!! I have not chosen the date, but I am looking at a weekday early evening from like 530p to 900p. I know this is not the most convenient time, but cachers who live an hr away can still get home in time for a good nite sleep!! 😀
Taking suggestions on days of the week to pick or avoid!! Hoping to do this in June yet.

Ok, Fu, ya beat me to the punch. However, I will certainly try and be there, since I love puzzles.

When I ran the wi-fi list for Manitowoc, the Library didn’t come up.. that’s ODD. Only 4 places showed and the was Holiday Inn, Culture Cafe, Applebees and some other place I can’t remember.. Thanks for the INfo Dan!!

PS… since you own 99% of those puzzle caches in Appleton Marc, you can just GIVE us the answers ROFLMAO

i didn’t see them on any list ether. i just went in and asked a while back and they even have a pamphlet on how to use their wifi. also the library would have a lot of reference material to solve puzzles. depending on when you would do it I would go.

06/08/2006 at 3:02 pm #1762559Ok.. called the Library for hrs. Might be a problem. They are only open til 7p Monday-thursday, 6p on Friday & 1p on Saturday.
If we met on a week day at 530p, that would give us only 1.5hrs to work on stuff. I called and they said they don’t keep meeting rooms open longer than the library hrs. 🙁 Barely getting the ball rolling at 2.5 hrs. Ok..will keep looking and if nothing else we could get a start.
Called the Culture Cafe on Calument in Manitowoc and they can hold up to 30 ppl. They close at 5p but DO open up for private meeting or parties. They can do a variety of things for us too, all we have to do is ask prior to the event. They DO have Wi-Fi so at least we would have internet access. So that is my front runner!!
06/08/2006 at 7:58 pm #1762560Any reason why it has to be in Manitowoc? As I recall from my days living in Sheboygan, the Sheboygan Library is open later and I believe they have WiFi as well.
06/08/2006 at 9:33 pm #1762561Doesn’t have to be in Manitowoc. I Just happen to live 20 minutes from there is all. I just don’t KNOW Sheboygan all that well. Here is some other info I have on other places.
Sheboygan Library Hours -Monday and Wednesday 9-8
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9-58p is better than 7p for sure, but the date I had chosen is a Thursday, based on my work schedule, of which I work 12 hr shifts. Wil look at an alternative day of the week.
Fond du Lac Library Hours – Monday & Thursday til 8P
Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday til 5PAppleton Library Hours – Mon.- Thurs.9-8 Friday 9-6
Opinions on a 5:30p to 8:00p (2.5hrs) time slot???? or would we like to have that extra hour?? I am in the process of searching aditiona WiFi availability in other nearby cities.

06/12/2006 at 2:35 pm #1762563Anybody else have any other suggestions for a place to hold this event. Prefer a place with wi fi, but if that doesn’t work, we can wing it!!
Still looking at the Sheboygan/Kohlar. My concer is, though the times are from 530 to 8 or 9, that depending on the distance, some ppl may not get there til 630 and we’ll have barely gotten the ball rolling.
Comments? Questions? Concerns? Ideas????
06/12/2006 at 8:05 pm #1762564I could make that date if it were in manitowoc or two rivers. I have league trap shooting north of two rivers that night at about 8pm.
