    let’s see…I have way too many…

    1. pens without caps
    2. dirty socks left in the living room
    3. cupboard doors not being closed
    4. any type of junk in the front yard that doesn’t belong there – which pretty much includes everything
    5. closet doors left open

    There’s way too many. I’ll stop now…

Meteorologists that say that they cannot be accurate more than 36-48 hours out, and then give you a seven day outlook. The station I watch here in Milwaukee will often give you a different forecast from each meteorologist. I guess they want to cover most of the possibilities. One of them has to be right. Right?

What about them giving you what the daily temps are going to be, for those by the lake, and then tell you that will only hold for a couple of miles inland. don’t most of us in their viewing area live more than two miles away from the lake?

How about the people that have the radio in the car turned up so loud that your car vibrates and you can’t hear what you have playing? 😑

Yesterday someone actually had my rear view mirror vibrating to the beat of his car.

How about the idiots that decide to shoot off Fireworks at 2 in the morning exactly one month before the fourth of July. I was up for 2 hours waiting for the next one so I could make the call to the authorities.

Maybe this is just weird and not a pet peeve. Twisted telephone cords, they drive me nuts. If I am next to one, I have to untwist the darn thing so it hangs straight.

Oh, thank you for bringing this thread back to the surface so I didn’t have to go searching for it.

Speaking from the perspective of an out-of-state traveler, never to return to certain areas for possibly quite some time, I do not like I-Zoom, I-Pass, EZ-Pass, or whatever lets cars on toll roads bypass the cash lanes. (I’m not talking about for commuting purposes, which are good for those who do that every day.) We do not live there, we do not often travel there, it would not be worth our while to purchase one of these passes, so we are made to suffer in cash only lanes where even having the right change doesn’t matter.

Seven lanes at the eastern edge of Indiana, everyone has to stop and pay toll. Three lanes cash only, all backed up to who knows where, four lanes for the “Pass People”, maybe a car every thirty seconds or so going through, not even a truck. Nice way to promote travel in your state. Grr-rrrrr… πŸ‘Ώ πŸ‘Ώ πŸ‘Ώ

Traffic!!!! I went through the Dells for the first time in my life on Saturday, and I will never, ever, ever, go back there!!!!! The one exception will be to find the NFL Challenge, and I still won’t go unless it’s in the middle of winter. Even then I’m not entirely sure if I will go. I know people are trying to make a living out there but, one has to be absolutely nuts off the rocker to want to go there. No offense to those living there, or those that like it out there. It sure isn’t my cup of brandy. I would most definitely bypass this town on my travels.

Mistake #1: Going in the summer.
Mistake #2: Going on a weekend.

If we want to do something in the Dells, we go mid-week. If we can bypass most of the Strip, we will. If we go south like to Madison, we pick a different route entirely. And if you need directions next time, just give me a shout.

Now, furfool, what’s the traffic like where you live? πŸ˜‰

Driving through isn’t that bad, it’s when you want to turn into an attraction or pull out from the parking lots πŸ˜†

Most definitely. That was the first “anything” we had with a remote. I thought it was so cool. I could pause the movie sitting down, so I could get up and head to the bathroom.
