The fact that even though there are many parks in these parts that don’t have a single cache in them, most new caches that are being put out in this area are in signs and guard rails or otherwise within 5′ of a road. 🙁

People who never learned from the adage “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all” when logging caches and feel the need to pepper their logs with criticisms on the hide, container, placement, writeup, puzzle, attributes, etc. etc. etc.

ESPECIALLY when said people have thousands of finds but no hides of their own (or only the obligatory 1 or 2 or 3 hides to satisfy old seed cache requirements).

OK, so we’re driving home from having supper with my dad, and we go by this riding stable that has (and remember, today is August 21) THEIR HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS UP!!!!!! A whole ring of sheet ghosts, and a fake cemetery, same ones they had last year.

I know that they have a big Pumpking/Halloween event at the end of October, but puhh-LEEZ! August 21?????!!!!!!!! 🙄 🙄 🙄

A number of years ago, I walked into a Sears store at a now defunct shopping mall, and the day after Labor Day, they had Christmas decorations up already. That was when I realized just how commercial the holidays had become.

Not my pet peeve, but just a peeve:
Hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent on very nice paved bike trail along Hwy. R in Wausau. Why do some people still choose to ride their bicycles on the roadway?

My pet peeve are people who posts photos in a thread that are too large, forcing me to scroll side to side to read a message. All it takes is a few seconds to downsize a picture before posting. Thank you.
