Photo Sharing Sites and the WGA Website

Doing a little research and wondering if anyone has been able to get photos from either Instagram or Flickr to work in the WGA forums?  If you have gotten them to work how did you go about it?  More specifically what type of link did you use to get your photo to display in forum posts.

I don’t use Flickr or Instagram so this post may not be helpful.  I use Smugmug.com (which isn’t free) but really like it.  To address the second part of your question, however, I generate a link for a photo at Smugmug, and at the WGA Forum when creating a post I click on “Insert Image” and >POOF< it’s in the post.  Here’s an example:

That image is actually at http://www.smugmug.com/photos/i-G5ZRLJm/0/S/i-G5ZRLJm-S.jpg

 

Incidentally, a little trick I learned from Ranger Boy – If you have an archived cache, you could make a post simply with pictures at that cache page, and then link to them.  It’s another way to have free photo storage.

with the WGA auction items, I just started posting them on FB first, then using the Insert Image like the Hacks

Can we insert images from facebook????  I never knew that!  I use photobucket when I want to upload pictures to the WGA site.

I know it works great from Facebook, Smugmug, and Photobucket.  Was just wondering if anyone had any luck with the other two sites.
