Has anyone had this happen to them yet…I got a logging requirement message from someone on my EC in WA.  All they did was send me a picture of the sign where you find the information for the questions.  I’m not sure how I feel about that.  I mean, I guess it’s true that they’re sending me the answers but …. isn’t it the point to learn something and put forth some sort of effort.  I don’t know!

As CO I would think you could request an email in answers to the questions.

I had a different experience where a cacher logged the earthcache answers with encrypted message in their found it log. When I asked them to respond via email with their answers so I could read it, they replied, “Not a chance!” So their log was deleted and I moved on.

ECs are not my “thing” but this could go either way. IF the picture was just the sign with no personal element,(the cacher, their GPS, their Dog, whatever) I would question if they actually visited or found a picture of the signage somewhere online and are attempting to armchair the EC.

We visit EC’s that sound interesting, but rarely log them. Not into the answering questions thing. We do appreciate that they exist though and often post notes with photos (not the signs with the answers).
