Kudos to BakRdz!
β‘ On completing his 600th mission at GC142XB here in the Sovereign State of Winneconne and in grand style!
Despite lots of Craphas π to contend with (and little winter geocaching experience).
Although BakRdz has Γ’β¬ΛonlyΓ’β¬β’ been caching for just about 5 months now his enthusiasm is contagious and his logs are great reads in themselves. β
Today, Jay also “delivered the mail” (#599) and got a FTF at GC1Z9Y9 plus he bagged another FTF during the “Storm of the Century” in the midst of a blizzard of craphas at GC1ZAZK beating the Abominable Snowman to the punch on Wednesday.
Or was it the Yetis: β β β β π
WTG Jay! π

12/12/2009 at 12:43 am #1918146Enjoyed reading the log…it gave me a brief “fix” while huddled indoors…am hoping for an early January thaw. Congrats on the milestone π

12/12/2009 at 2:38 am #1918148Nice work Jay! I did a small amount of caching today and it wasn’t an overly joyous time. I can’t imagine that yesterday was even remotely a walk in the park! Keep up the great pace.
12/12/2009 at 2:41 am #1918149Congrats Jay!
12/12/2009 at 3:49 am #1918150Way to go on #600, BakRdz!

12/13/2009 at 9:28 pm #1918152Thanks everyone! This caching in the “craphas” (especially in the country in the cold) makes it a bit more difficult than I expected, but still lots of fun. Including a few FTFs and a well done multi courtesy of the King and Queen of the Sovereign State made this a memorable start to December.
Think I’m going to concentrate on urban caches for a bit (not that those will probably be any easier) before going out to into the wild to attempt what will likely be just as memorable — Number SSSSix SSSSix SSSSix!

12/13/2009 at 10:22 pm #1918153Congrats on the #600 milestone. I’ve looked at this cache a number of times, but just haven’t worked the puzzle portions. I’ve read a number of good stories on this cache and it sounds like a great milestone.
Now we can “officially” start planning the assault on SSSS to get you to #666.
12/14/2009 at 3:18 am #1918154Congrats on the 600, Jay! Great choice of a milestone find!
