08/08/2007 at 1:26 pm #1877779Sorry to see this Lorrie. I wouldn’t imagine you would adopt any out unless you had to. After everyone has chosen what interests them, if you still have some caches you need help with drop me a line. If there’s one thing about geocaching, it seems we have friends everywhere 😀 .
08/08/2007 at 1:41 pm #1877780Lorrie,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having to slow down on geocaching.
I’ve sent you an e-mail with a list of Wood and Adams Counties caches I am willing to adopt.

If there are some alway maintainable area when all is said and one I would love to adopt one. Your caches have always brought me to a great place. I would hate to see any of them get archived. I hope all goes well with your personal life and you can adopt all of them back at the time that is right for you.

08/08/2007 at 5:54 pm #1877783Please forgive me if I’m goofing up on who wants what.. I’m bouncing between my email, here and private messages on here and it’s getting confusing..

08/08/2007 at 7:49 pm #1877784I know how sad you must be having to find new owners for your caches, but I want you to know that both my mom and I have LOVED finding your caches over the last couple of years. They have brought us to many unique and unusual places that we have really enjoyed.
My mom, UGoGirls, lives in Waupaca and is willing to adopt Emmons Creek (GC942A). She is not “message board literate” so she asked me to post this request for her. She would probably also be willing to take over “Chateau on the Emmons” (GC9429) if you are letting people take over your virtuals as wells.
Good luck with everything and we hope that you are able to begin placing new caches in the future!

08/08/2007 at 8:08 pm #1877785yes, my virtuals need to go too they take more time and attentions than do my caches (because I love to chat via emails and read all my mails) The reason my caches were easier on me was because all the geo-friends lent a hand when/if they could to help keep them going.. I just feel so guilty now not able to answer my virtuals.. and most of them are my favorite Historical ones.. so seeing them in the hands of people that knew the reasons why I placed them.. helps me to part with them now.. though I’m having a very long day here..
It’s just killing me to do this but I know it’s for the best for the sport.

08/08/2007 at 9:34 pm #1877786Lorrie, I always enjoyed getting the personal little emails from you when I did one of your virtuals. I will miss that, but I understand how that can take a lot of time with sooooooo many. Sent an email about these:
GC859C Spirit Quest – War Veteran
GC859A Spirit Quest – Enter and Rest Easy My Buddies
GC8599 Circle of Friendship
08/08/2007 at 10:27 pm #1877787Course, I’m just crazy enough to have adopted The Gauntlet as well.

I think there’d be a long line for that one…I know I’d be in it.

The cache owner will still read The Lil Otter, as they still belong to you and always will. We’ll just “cachesit” them for as long as you need.
Get well S O O N ! ! !
