Anybody else having a problem? Not getting PQ’s, not receiving logs on cache finds (my own) or on watchlist items. Also not receiving notifications of new caches or the weekly newsletter. This is being discussed at gc.com and nobody can figure out if it is a gc.com problem or a Charter server problem or both. I switched my profile e-mail to Hotmail and now I am getting the stuff, although the PQ’s don’t run right through Hotmail! 🙁 Any replies or suggestions appreciated.

I have Charter — no problems noted at this time.

I use hotmail for my pocket queries and have had no trouble with them. Can’t help you with the Charter question, sorry.

Did Charter recently set up an “anti-spam” filter? If so, did you set up gc.com as an acceptable email source?

🙁 Sorry to be dumb, but I have NO Idea. I don’t even know how to check for that. The odd thing is, I will get one log a day and the rest just don’t show up. I set up my notifications to go through my Hotmail account and as usual last night my mailbox was full of fun logs to read. I waited on hold with charter for 20 minutes yesterday. I think if I can figure out how to transfer the PQ’s from Hotmail to Gsak, I am just going to do that from now on.

Should be easy in Hotmail. In the attachment section of the email, there should be a button for “save to disk” or something similar. Save the zip file and then import the file into your GSAK database.

I’ve run 2 pocket queries in the past 2 days — no problems here.

I have charter. I haven’t run a PQ in quite a few weeks, but I recently did not get a log on a geocache I own. The log was a “needs maintenence” one too. 🙁

I have other issues with charter on occasion as well. My theory is that if it’s more than one person having trouble with it, it’s probably charter’s issue. 😉
