I took a look at the list of candidates, and am surprised to know all eight of them, and have cached with each at some time or another.

But there are only 5 vacancies. So, what do I do?

I tend not to read the candidate forums, but rather depend on personal knowledge of the candidates. After having cached with someone, like Seth or Ralph, so often, I have a good idea what they are all about.

So, is there something special to consider? Or do I just vote

    1. For those I know best.
    2. Alphabetically.
    3. Those closest to me geographically.
    4. Any bribes?
    5. Those who DO NOT place puzzles.
    6. Anyone willing to put me up for a night’s stay.
    7. The cutest smile?

Partially tongue in cheek … but not completely.

    Might I suggest –
evaluating what direction you would like to see WGA head in 09-10
    evaluate the candidates
and vote according to those who will lead the organization in the direction you would like?

If you choose either alphabetically or by cutest smile, I would come in dead last in both. ๐Ÿ™‚

Aw c’mon Ralph, you have a cute smile! Maybe not as cute as Anne’s, though!

I agree with Renee. This might be considered political suicide, but I do think that any of those currently running will do their very best to give to this organization, and listen to the membership. So as a voter, you have to decide which will take you where you’d like to see us go.

Unlike some elections in which we must participate, I see this one as win-win…..even if I lose!

Hmmmm…. knowing that you LOVE puzzles I have an idea. ๐Ÿ˜‰

How about getting someone to set up a series of 8 caches that you somehow choose randomly (GR8 math probability). ๐Ÿ‘ฟ Each cache contains the name of one of the candidates. The first five names you find are the ones you vote for. โ—

Nancy, that one cracked me up! I had the chance to enter marc’s Command Central this weekend and was in awe of what happens in Sellzup.

Seriously, excluding myself, of course, one could choose to vote this way and I think the results would yield a great BOD. Everyone has great ideas and energy and a commitment to the organization.

You think this is cute??? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ LOL

Marc……if there is anyway…. read through the answers each question without looking at WHO wrote the answers, till having read through them them all. Keep tally of the answers you like. From there pick the candidates with the the greater number of answers you agree with.

    Hope it helps!!

Heh, heh. Too funny Marc. It’s going to be a tough year for voting with no bad candidates. And be sure to vote early and often ๐Ÿ˜‰ .
