I would like to add some pictures and/or color typing, larger print, etc… to jazz up the page for the $1000.00 event. When I went to put the picture in it worked fine, but it really messed up my paragraphs – ARGH! 😯 Everything was totally messed up. So I went back, took the picture out and now my margins are really narrow which means the page is longer. Then I had to go back and put in the paragraphs again, etc…
Can someone please explain – in simple terms – 🙄 how to make the cache page look nice? I would like to be able to update people with the upcoming announcements with a different colored font, etc… so it attracts attention as well as put some pictures on the page.
Thanks for any help! 😀

This has happened to me in the past as well. It’s like an invisible piece of code is stuck on the page somewhere. The only way I could get rid of it was to remove everything from the page and start fresh.
This does not mean all is lost though. Cut and paste everything into MS word or something similar first. Then paste it back after you’ve completely removed everything from the page.
You should also use
instead of
for paragraph spacing if you aren’t already. justifying everything seems to help as well. Also, when adding a pic near the top of the page, it tends to interfere with all the GC.com stuff (inventory, bookmarks etc..) on the right side of the page. Adding some spacing (
) above the pic to bring it down lower on the page, makes a world of difference, and makes for a better alignment.04/11/2008 at 4:07 pm #1887738…or if you copy the page to a Word doc and make it the way you want it to look then send the doc to me I could transfer it all to HTML for you (the way you want it to look) and send you the code…let me know. I’m home after 1pm today….and I don’t mind helping with any updates you need to add later on.

Please re-send your request. I evidently did not receive your first e-mail.

I heard Will Wheaton geocaches.
04/15/2008 at 1:12 pm #1887746😀 oohhhhh Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, JOSH HOLLOWAY!!! YUMMMY! Don’t even get me started. 😛 I don’t think they know much about geocaching, but… um… they would be nice to look at all day so who cares! 😯 (I would probably not get much done other than to drool into my geobag and speak in garbled tongues if Josh showed up though… 😳 )
