I tried many times before heading south last to run a PQ for a route on Thursday. I have run them before and have never had a problem. Even ran old ones. I could get area PQ’s with no problems, but with the route ones it said it was an unknow file. And as far as I know I haven’t changed anything. Any help or ideas?

When you got the “unknown file” error was it when you were trying to upload a route file? I’ve gotten that before with an upload when it was the wrong .gpx version or there was something else wrong with my route (too long, too many waypoints).

If it was an old PQ that you’ve run before does it run against a route you’ve uploaded or a public route that someone else had uploaded? Could the route have been deleted in geocaching.com so your old PQ cold no longer find it?

Make sure that you have the same GPX format settings in GSAK and on the website.

Ran one without issue, loading the ZIP file into GSAK. PM sent to da bear……. 🙂

p.s. It is a gpx file inside the ZIP. I’ve GC set to produce as GPX ver 1.0.1
