Anybody having problems getting PQs tonight? I’ve submitted two in the Cudahy area and they come back as:
Your Pocket Query had no results. If you believe you should have received a
result to your query, please review your Pocket Query for errors.
Visit the online results:
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?pq=22504399-b7e3-489c-b216-237692e314b1When I click on the address, all I get is a CITO page.
I’ve never had problem like this before.
05/30/2009 at 3:09 pm #1908909Recheck all the different blocks you ticked off. That is where I find my errors.
05/31/2009 at 12:29 am #1908910I ended up going through them 3-4 times and no luck. I had to do everything the hard way.
05/31/2009 at 1:07 am #1908911Try logging out of GC, clear your web cache, reboot your pc. See if that clears something out memory.
06/02/2009 at 8:57 pm #1908912Tried all of that before trying another queery, and I have the same problem.
06/03/2009 at 5:44 pm #1908913Check your coordinates. Typically this problem happens when the coordinates are somewhere like Latitude = 90°. Additionally, make sure you have set the distance to 500 miles. That way, you might get a clue that your location is the north pole when it returns caches in the Yukon.
06/03/2009 at 9:54 pm #1908914Make sure that you key the search to a known geocache that should be returned in the query. I have found I get a null return when I key the search to my home coordinates. I also have difficulty when I set attributes, I now just leave those alone.
06/04/2009 at 2:32 am #1908915In the past I have always went by zip code and the closest 50 caches within a 10 mile radius, and have never had a problem. I’ll try some more screwing around, but I have to admit that I am getting quite frustrated here.
06/04/2009 at 3:14 am #1908916Yep, same problems.
06/04/2009 at 3:36 am #1908917Query Name – Whatever
This what I have always done.Days to Generate – Wed.
Uncheck the day of the week after the query runs.

Terrain/Difficulty is equal to or greater than 1
Within State of Wisconsin
From Origin Postal Code – Whatever
Within Radius of 10 miles
Placed During/Between – None Selected
Attributes to Include/Exclude – None Selected
Output to – this account’s email address
Compress files into *.zip formatAny other ideas?

I created a PQ with what is above and I to got null results. But when I clicked Premium member I got results. That might be your problem.
06/04/2009 at 4:20 am #1908919I clicked on “are for members only”. I don’t see “Premium member” anywhere.
06/04/2009 at 11:10 am #1908920dont check either of the boxes for these
Are available to all users, Are for members only
then you should be ok

I did this and it now says that the search found 75 caches, or something to that effect anyway. I am assuming that it worked. However, that was an hour ago and I am still waiting for the emailed file. Thank you.
06/04/2009 at 9:03 pm #1908922PQ showed up at 8:50. Thanks Barry or Valerie, that did the trick. I never had to keep those unchecked before.
