Is it really so terrible to log a PMO cache for a family member? I guess I really hadn’t thought about it. I am a premium member and pay the fee but we also have an account for our family that I don’t pay for. I almost always just log the cache under my own name and don’t bother with our family account but every once in a while I’ll use the back door if it is a really cool cache and I just really want that one on our family profile. Honestly, the biggest reason why we even got the family profile was so that we could have a legitimate team name, especially for our WGA badges. 😉 Anyway, just wondering, is this so wrong?

Let’s just say that Groundspeak is very aware of the backdoor and has yet to close it after updating the app at least 8 times. If it makes you happy, log it.
Becca – I don’t think this is wrong at all. My wife and I use the same GPSr. We have separate accounts because I go caching during the week on my off days and she doesn’t want her numbers falsely inflated. I think the $30 per year is appropriate to spend on one member per household. Otherwise, the cost becomes prohibitive.
