Presentation needed in Appleton area

Now that we have an education committee (or will soon) not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this, but easiest for now.

Through my association with REI where I did a presentation last fall, I received a request for a geocaching presentation this Labor day weekend, Sat. Sept. 1 in Appleton. I’m hoping someone from the area could step up and take this one.

The event will be a tandem bicycling event with about 1500 people attending. They think there will be overlapping interest with biking and geocaching (I agree) so they would like to offer a 1 hour geocaching presentation at 6:30 in addition to their other biking related presentations. They will have indoor facilities for an intro powerpoint presentation. Presumably there would be an area for outdoor temp’s if desired, but I don’t remember where it’s taking place. We are semi sorta kinda maybe interested. Is this the Midwest Tandem Rally? Robin & I ride a Wizwheelz tandem and have done a few RAGBRAI’s too. We are doing an (event) presentation in about a month (Intro to Geocaching GC10NHZ). We’re COW’s too (unless we expired??? Not sure about that).

I really got to check with Robin before we volunteer anything, not sure what that weekend holds for us.
