I went to the hobby store and picked up a couple of those square acrylic protectors with the spot for the coin to fit perfectly. I bought two quarter sized ones for my micro geocoins….they didn’t fit 🙁 But on a plus side, my pathtag fits perfectly! I’m thinking I’ll have to try the dollar sized ones for the geocoins. Anybody know for sure if they fit? They are a $1/piece. I can use them for other coins, but I’d really rather not have to find a use for them.
Not sure if they will fit in the dollar sized ones. You might be better off going to a coin shop and trying the ones for the silver eagle coin. Those are a bit bigger. Bring a coin with you to be sure.
The dollar coin holders work pretty well for micro coins. The only thing is that they are a little too thick, so the holder needs to be taped on one end to make sure it will stay closed. This actually worked out pretty good though, because it gave me a place to write the activation code 🙂
