Does anyone know anything about there being a geocaching activity tied in with Quarry Quest in Neenah, WI on Sept. 15? I had a non-geofriend ask me if I was doing it and she didn’t have any info on it. I looked through the online brochure but didn’t see it.
From what I saw the “geocaching” was you put in the coords for the sponsors and go to their business and they stamp your card which you then submit for a drawing/prizes. Pretty loose use of “geocaching”.

Well, so far, they haven’t submitted them for “permanent” status.
I did hear something on the radio about a $9000 ring that people could look for, Im guessing it was thrown in a pile of dirt and people had to actually dig for it.
now that would be quite a cashe find
